We're now playing at Teranga (159 Augusta Avenue, just North West of Spadina & Dundas) as part of the Pitter Patter Festival with Loitering Heroes, Tonn, and Whiskey Priest. We're on first, so hope to see you right at 9!

hi! good gravy... what's going on lately? well, I had a fantastic feature at The Art Bar the other night. thanks to everyone who came out! High Heels Lo Fi will be playing a couple of songs at the final Renaissance Cafe weekend on Saturday May 9th. Also, we're playing at the Pitter Patter Festival the weekend of May 28-30th.
i've taken up jogging so that i can do a 10K run in october. pretty freaky, yes i know. but it might actually whip me into shape.

- High Heels Lo Fi has a great show on Saturday February 21st and we really hope that EVERYONE can come out to this one!
- the High Heels Lo Fi blog is always full of lunacy and fun
- remind me to gut the art studio so that i have room to paint again!

this year has been a blur of band activity, with little time left for other art. however, i'm reading poetry on January 27th at The Art Bar!

- High Heels Lo Fi has a nasty and hilarious anti-holiday tune called Shove Your Bells
- we're starting to prep for February Album Writing Month again.

latest happenings:
- High Heels Lo Fi recorded a four song demo! "Four Off The Floor" will be available at Canzine on October 26th.
- we're also launching a zine, weird new buttons, and our new bass player who has silver metal flames on her bass. i could not make this up.

latest happenings:
- High Heels Lo Fi took August off as we were all super busy & needed a break. gearing up again soon - will post upcoming gigs late Octoberish
- latest painting series tentatively titled "Mutant Garden" is slowly but surely cruising along.
- the mega super clearance painting sale went well - there are still a few tidbits left at huge discounts (basically the cost of the canvas & paint) email me if you're looking for a deal, or something a certain size / colour / style.
- i've been painting, reading, watching movies, hanging out with my husband, you know... summer loafing.

one day until spring!
here is the what's what:
- High Heels Lo Fi completed the FAWM.org challenge, writing 15 songs in 29 days. woot! now we have to polish & record a few of them, and book some shows for spring. give us a shout if you have any leads on gigs!

- yes, i still don't have a 2008 gallery up yet on this site. i'm way behind on a whack of stuff

- the entire city has a cold and/or the flu. yikes. please wash your hands often, take some vitamins, and get extra sleep. it's the only way to fight it, and keep fighting the new bugs. it's getting ridiculous.

Happy New Year everyone!
Here is the latest news, in point form for convenient skimming:
- spent much of new year's day cleaning out my art studio so that it's usable again. this means new paintings are coming soon!
- took down the art show at Flight 55. the skinny vertical paintings have been sold, but the rest are available if you're interested - click here to view
- tomorrow night the band has our biggest show yet at the Cameron House. 10pm sharp, and it's free!
- february is album writing month! (fawm.org) the challenge is to write 14 songs in 28 days. we are taking on the challenge, so please don't be alarmed if paisley & i disappear for the month of february.
- i intended to record another spoken word album this winter, but don't know if that can still happen. maybe if it's a short one?
